Robinson's 29-Point 5x5
A 5x5 requires a player to record at least five points, five rebounds, five assists, five steals and five blocked shots in the same game. Robinson cleared all five categories with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals and 10 blocks.
The performance was particularly unusual because Robinson reached double figures in blocked shots. His 10 blocks were nearly enough to give him a triple-double, but he finished one rebound short with nine.
Robinson also made 10 of 17 field-goal attempts and nine of 10 free throws, giving him an efficient 29 points while making an enormous defensive impact.
10 Blocks and 5 Steals
The defensive numbers were the defining feature of Robinson's performance. He blocked 10 shots and recorded five steals, giving him 15 combined steals and blocks.
San Antonio finished with 12 blocks as a team, meaning Robinson accounted for 10 of them. He also recorded five of the Spurs' 12 steals.
Robinson therefore personally accounted for 15 of San Antonio's 24 combined steals and blocked shots.
Milwaukee finished with seven blocks as an entire team, three fewer than Robinson recorded by himself.
One Rebound Short of a Triple-Double
Robinson's final line was unusual even beyond the 5x5. With 29 points and 10 blocks already secured, he needed only one additional rebound to record a triple-double.
He finished with five offensive rebounds and four defensive rebounds for nine total rebounds. He also handed out five assists.
Although the missing rebound prevented the triple-double, the five steals made the overall stat line considerably rarer.
San Antonio Comes Back in the Second Half
Milwaukee led 27-26 after the first quarter and carried a 52-51 advantage into halftime.
The Spurs took control in the third quarter, holding the Bucks to only 17 points while scoring 25. That gave San Antonio a 76-69 advantage entering the fourth.
Milwaukee scored 29 points in the final period, but San Antonio answered with 28 and held on for the 104-98 victory.
Strong Games from Ellis and Daniels
Dale Ellis provided San Antonio with 23 points, five assists and two steals while shooting 9-for-16 from the field. Lloyd Daniels added 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Sean Elliott scored 18 points and recorded two steals, while David Wood contributed seven points, three rebounds, two steals and a block off the bench.
For Milwaukee, Alvin Robertson and Brad Lohaus each scored 19 points. Eric Murdock handed out a game-high 11 assists, while the Bucks made 10 three-pointers.
Robinson's Rare All-Around Games
Robinson had already produced several games with at least five steals and five blocks before this performance, but November 10, 1992 was the game in which his scoring, rebounding and passing also reached the 5x5 thresholds.
Less than two years later, Robinson would produce an even rarer statistical achievement. On February 17, 1994, he recorded 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 blocks against the Detroit Pistons for an official quadruple-double.

Later in that same 1993-94 season, Robinson scored a career-high 71 points against the Los Angeles Clippers to capture the NBA scoring championship.
